Cause We Can: Operates in Bruce and Grey counties in Ontario. We are a locally sourced group of like-minded individuals who, through community support, aim to sustain a culture of rich diversity, environmental stewardship, and social and economic justice for both human and non-human species in the Bruce-Grey area.
We work towards dreaming up and successfully implementing creative and entertaining events to raise funds for causes that support our mission.

ABORTION PILLS BY MAIL IN ALL 50 STATES
Let's stand up for abortion access in the US! Women on Web is a Canadian feminist non-profit organization facilitating online access to abortion pills since 2005. For almost 20 years, we have helped women and pregnant people access safe abortion care on their own terms, regardless of restrictive laws.
In July 2024, we opened our online abortion service in the US, providing discreet and affordable medical abortion care to people in every state. In just a few short months, we have supported almost 1000 people to access abortion pills by mail and responded to almost 3000 help requests across the country.We expect help requests to increase under the Trump administration and already since the election, requests have gone up significantly. President Trump is going to try to sign a national abortion ban and cut off access to the abortion pill.
Courts will continue to find ways to outlaw abortions pills, but we cannot let abortion bans, courts and politicians to stop us from helping each other!Most abortion-seekers who reach out to Women on Web are financially and geographically vulnerable, living in the states hardest hit by the abortion bans.
The cost of providing this care to a single person is $160 but at the moment 30% of all US-based users receive free abortion pills and support from us and another 30% pay a sliding scale fee.
If you can, please consider supporting our work with a donation or become a recurring donor. A donation of $160 helps us provide timely and dignified abortion care for someone who cannot otherwise afford to pay.

SUMMER 2024
It was DOG DAZE all summer long at Three Sheets Brewing & Tap Room in Port Elgin, Ontario!
CAUSE WE CAN proudly presented this initiative to support a local breeding dog rescue organization, K9 Safe Space. Cuddles were had with a cold one and rescued dog OR one that is still looking for their forever home.
"K9 Safe Space is a registered not-for-profit organization with a mission to help dogs in need who would otherwise be euthanized. We are a foster-based rescue operating in the Stratford Ontario area with foster homes in the surrounding cities of Southwestern Ontario. K9 Safe Space offers a no-judgment, no-questions-asked drop-off zone for breeding dogs that can no longer have puppies, unwanted dogs/puppies, and special needs dogs from commercial breeders and rural communities."

Another successful fundraiser to add to the books! CAUSE WE CAN Bruce Grey set up a fully vegan BBQ outside of Three Sheets Brewing & Tap Room in Port Elgin, Ontario.
We welcomed LOVE OF BRIAN Farm Sanctuary members Jaime and Cam Sirna who set up a very informative and "farmhouse chic" table full of items to purchase in support of this great cause.
Local musicians ODD MARSHALL and RANDI joined us on stage to help raise money with door sales.
In the end we sent off a cheque for $1200 to help the farm offset costs of their next huge hay bale delivery and subsidize their ongoing costs for food and care.
THANK YOU to all that came out in support and to the various media organizations that helped us spread the word. It was so much FUN!!

CAUSE WE CAN - Bruce Grey held its 1st ever "Giv'er Gift Drive" at Three Sheets Brewing in Port Elgin, Ontario.
The generous crowd was at capacity all night and came bearing many gifts and monetary donations.
This generosity exceeded our expectations 10-fold and we can now help support many more families through the wonderful Dorrell Young Christmas Program.
Special thank you to Jeff Carver owner of Three Sheets Brewing for his welcoming and supportive relationship. Three Sheets staff were plenty and very helpful all night!
Local singer/songwriter Amber May (seen here) played a couple of great sets plus some timely holiday tunes to keep us in the mood.
Lastly, we simply couldn't do this without the help of all of the volunteer elves who joined us that night.
We look forward to our next EVENT...and so should YOU!!

Together we raised $3500 dollars!
Seen here, CWC Director Steve Dunk presents a Women's House Board representative with a cheque for $3500. Funds will go towards their vision of a world where women are empowered, and women and children are safe, secure, and free from violence.
